CANARY, PIGEON AND CAT SHOW.
A very successful exhibition. was held by th.j Wellington Canary, Pigeon, and Cat Society in the Alexandra Hall on Saturday afternoon and evening. The entries were much forger than at previous summer exhibitions. Tho judge (Mr. John Langridge, Curator of the Zoo) was of.opinion that the cats were an exceptionally fine lot, fit to be exhibited at any show elsewhere. The fancy pigeons were n high-class lot, the birds being in porfeot plumage. There was a fine exhibition of all classes of canaries and tho, competition was very keen. Mr. Georga Abfl secured the championship shield for a young Yorkshire canary, the Norwich championship falling to Mr. E.Bullen, of Blenheim.
