FATAL ACCIDENT ON RAILWAY LINE

RETURNED SOLDIER KILLED. 3t Ttltgranh—Fi-nns Association Te Kuiti, December 6. An accident having a fatal termination occurred on Saturday night at Hangatiki. A young man named Edward Cuthbent O'Hare, a returned soldier, was found dead some ten chains from the Haltgafiki railway station. It is assumed that deceased was struck by a, passing goods train when he was crossing the line. Deceased sustained a broken back and other injuries. At. tho Coroner's inquest to-day, Mr. E. W. Burton, S.M., found that deccnsed died from injuries received through being struck' by a train, no blame being attachable -to anyone
