The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Co., Ltd., Dannevirko, report as follows:—During the past week we held salcß at Woodvillo (Monday), and Dannevirko (Friday). At both places the yardings were very small and very little changed hand 9. Wo quote: Fat ewes, 27». 3d.; forward ewes, 215.; bulls, £13 to £10; springing heifers, to £10. Messrs. Dalgety and Company, Ltd,, Palmerston North, report having a fair yardiui' of sheep at flielr Fcllding salo On Friday. All lots offered changed hands, but competition was not particularly keen. Quotations: Cull mixed 2-tooths, 12s. Id.; small 2-tooth ewes, 175.: small 2-tooth wethers, 17s. to 18s. 7d.; very fair Ztooth wethers. 225. Id. to 235. 6d.; shorn forward ewes, 16s. 6d.; cwcb and lambs, 255. 6d: ; Binall woolly hoggets, 195.; fat hoggets, 265.
