Present: HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOE-GENERAL-IN-OOUNCIL. TN ]>ursuance and exercise of the pow--J- erg vested in hiin by the Animals Protection Act', 1908, His Excellency tho Governor-General of the Dominion of Now Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby make the following regulations respecting the mode of registering and recording appointments made under section twenty-three of the said Act, and doth hereby revoke the regulations made on the 11th day of May, 1901, for tho 6ame purpose. REGULATIONS. 1. Whenever a person in bona fide occupation of any land .appoints one other person to take or kill imported game upon 6uch land such appointment shall be in writing, in the form set forth m the Schedule hereto or to the effect thereof. 2. The original appointment shall be civeu to tlio appointee, who shall produce the same for inspection on the demand of any Ranger or other person authorised to require tho production of licenses issued under the Animals Protection Acts. 3. A copy of ovary such appointment shall forthwith bo forwarded by the person so appointed to the Secretory of the Acclimatisation Society for the district, and notice in writing of the revocation of any such appointmont shall be forwarded to the said secretary by the person making such appointment within twenty-four hoifrs alter such revocation. 1. If any person fails to observe or commits a breach of any of the foregoing regulations he shall be liable oil conviction to a penalty not exceeding iorty shillings. SCHEDULE.
