"One.plpmeiit which has been considered in connection with direct representation in AVashinjrton is ,that Australia. South Africa, and other British colonies and nonunions might desire similar representation. In fact, there was a movemwt in some colonies for such representation, and the British Foreign Office wn«said to have taken tip view that inefficiency might result from having several Colonial Ministers at Washington."
