THOMPSON TO STAND TRTAI- ON MURDER CHARGE.

Carterton, December 2. In the Magistrate's Court to-day, before Mr. Froo,. S.M.. Frederick- Thompson wai charged with the murder of Anthony Kzoslta, at Carterton. Mr. Macassoy, Crown Prosecutor, appeared for the Crown, and accused was defended by -Mr. \ F Hogg. The evidence throughout was similar to that pvenat the Coroners Inquiry yestorday, additional evidence being given by William Henry .Douglas (Wellington), Will am Henry Spicer .and Ernest Albert Spicer. At li» cte of the evidence counsel for accused entoied a plea of not guilty, and reserved his defence. Accused was committed foi tnil at the Wellington Supreme Court in February liext. '
