LOSSES THROUGH DROUGHT. Sydney, November 30. The Government Statistician reports that the State of New South Wales lost eight and a half million sheep through the drought during tho year ended June 30, following on a decrease of a million in tho previous twelve months. Cattle decreased by nearly half a million. Pigs had reached the record number of 300,000, and had dropped to less than a quarter of a million.
