CHRISTCHURCH HIDE SALE
Bv TeleErnnli—Press Asaociation. Christchurcri, November 30. A sale of hides was hold to-day, but the bulk of the catalogue was passed in. The values obtained were much on a par with those ruling at recent North Island sales. Although tanners were well represented, there was no animation in the market. Somo lots did not elicit a bid, this being noticeably the case with anything slippy or cut. Prices to-dny were: Ox hidei, IOJd.; cow hides, Bd.; yearling hides, 7d.; calf hides, 12d.
