Westport, November 21. it the Grunity .Band Contest ou Saturday, Westport Garrison Band won both the test selections and tho ouicketop; Westport Garrison No. 2, tho quartet; A. M'Masters, cornet solo; J. Lowh. eniphoniiim; J. Sara, trombone; W. Kennie, tenor horn; A. Pox, B flat Irasa; and J;-King tho boys'cornet solo. Scotland's potato crop is expected to bo the biggest for years. Southward Dioreuin Association have asked tho looal authority to provide women police patrols at Blackhoatli after dark.
