QUESTION OF TOTALISATOK FRACTIONS. (By Tcleeranh-Boccinl Corrcßnondent.) Masterton, November 21. The monthly meeting of thci Mnsterlon Hacing Club was held on Saturday, Mr. C. F." Vallance presiding. A letter from the Wairarapa Hospital Board acknowledging a donation of XllO towards the erection of a 6U4pwißlon bridge was received. A report from Mr. A. T. Fauvcl regarding his supervision of the totalieator was held over until the next meeting. A communication from tho Sports Protection League regarding the taking of totalisator fractions by the Government was endorsed, nnd it was resolved to forward copies to the members for Paliiatua, Masterton, and YTairarapa, with a request that they support a measure asking that the totalisator fractions be retained by the clubs. ■ A letter from the Facing Conference recarding the s)b. apprentice allowance was received. , -, . The North Island Owners and Iram«rs' Association was supported in a resolution asking for n reduction in railway freight for racehorses.. Members pointed out that it did not seem fair that A. and P.
