FALLING PRICES IN AMERICA
FARMERS TAKE UNITED ACTION. New York, November 18. The National Farmers' Union Conference in Kansas City has decided to take united notion to counteract falling prices. It is claimed that the farmers were robbed of a billion dollars, owing to tha reduction of tho values of present products. All .farmers are advised to hold their grain until profit-making levels' are reached.—Reuter. PRODUCERS' STRIKE URGED. (Rec. November 20, 0.15 a.m.) NeW York, November IS. The National Farmers' Union at Kansas Ci'iy sent a request to its member*, who are said to number 800,000 throughout the country, urging .the organisation of a producers strike, in wool, and live stock as a retaliation for the abnormal deflation of prices, i\hrough which American farmere lost a .billion dollars.—Aue.-N.Z.
