An a meeting of the Anglican Boys' Homes Extension Fund, held in the Accountants Chambers yesterday afternoon, the following, amounts were announced as having- been subscribed to the fund by the parishes of the city and districts: AorShland and Wudestown, .£7O 65.; St Marys Karon, £71; St. Michael's, Kelk Ut "i St. Peter's, £115 17s, Cd. (besides a War Bond and £15 for a bed); St. -Mark's .£l4O is.; St. Thomas's, £140 «a, : , &t ' £'. bans ' £W3 ■ 9s - M 'i Brooklyn, £101 55.; King's, £190 6s. 6d.; St. James's, Lower Hutt, £211 7s. Bd.; St. l'aul's £327 15s. 6d., All Saints', £357 17s. id J donations from country parishes, £57 lis. Bd. (the largest donaition from these being £27 15s. Cd. from St. Andrew's parish) • . proceeds from other souroes. £64 I2s. Expenses totalled £17 Us. 2d., leaving a balance-of £2057 12s. Id. The executive wished to thank all who had .in any way helped to" further the success of the effort, the workers, the public, the Press, mibscnbers, and the honorary auditor. Ihe attendance was not large, but tli« president and the secretary of the Progressive Society were unanimously appointed to attend the meeting of citizens to be held at the Y.M.C.A. rooms tliia evening.
