Hutt, at Hutt; Institute v. .Marist, Duppa Street, No. 4; Central Mission v. Miramar, m Miramar; Y.M.C.A. v. Wesley, Duppa Street, No. 5. Fourth.—Banks College v. Thornaon, Duppa Street, No. 6; Scots College v. Y.M.C.A., at Scots College; Miramar v. Wellington College, at College; Central Mission v. Kilbirnie Cadets, at Kilbirnie; Johnsonville, a bye. At tho Kilbirnie Reserve 'on Saturday two teams from the Miramar Gasworks and offices met two tennis from the town works and offices. The 'former suffered defeat in both games. Successful performers were as follow:— "AV teams: Batting (town)— Smith. 28, Harris 18, Miller 16, Waugh 23 not out. and M'Kay 10. (Miramar)—Day 16, and Jack Mann 15. Bowling (town)— Smith, 5 wickets; Miller, 2 wieltets; nnd Hawthorn. 3 wickets (hat trick). (Miramar)— A. Adams, seven wickets, Hntchard three wickets. "B" Toams: Batting (town)—Smyth 23, Cheek 15, H. Adams 12. (Miramar)— Turnbull, Herd, t»,l Nixon. Bowling (town)—Smyth seven wickets, H. Adams three wickets. (Miramar)—lJedges four wickets, and. Hicks three wickets. •
