At tho meeting of the "Save the Children" Fund Committee on Thursday, tho Mayoress (Mrs, J. I'. Luke) reported that the proposed date for a street day, Friday, November 26, had been booked by the Wellington Football Association, which body had, however, very generously given np its claim in favour of tho "Save tho Children" Fund. A hearty voto of thanks was accorded tho Football Association for acting in tho true spirit of British 6port.
