TAItANAICI CHAMPIONSHIP TOURNEY. By Telczriivh—Press Association'New Plymouth, November 12. There was a good attendance at the Taranaki provincial amateur boxing championship tourney to-night. Following are the results:— . Feather-weights (final): E. James (Now Plymouth) beat J. James (New L'ly-miJghi'-weight—M'Millan (Awakino) beat C'oombe (Onomii). Welter-weight—Rawson (Stratford) bent Lniul (New Plymouth). Professional middleweight contest for a ptirso of 120 sovs—L. Cadman (Auckland) beat Mike Dempsey comfortably on points. Br Tcleernph—Preps Association Wanganui, Noveniber 12. Jack Jannessc (Australia) met H. Gitnn (Timaru) to-night for a purse of jC'2OO. Tho contest went the full fifteen rounds and the result was a draw. The contest was a fine one, being fast and clean throughout. '
