Wireless r.dvico haß been received to the effect that the Ulimaroa, will arrive in the stream at 2 o'clock this afternoon from Sydney. THE LILY'S POSITION. The Lily is still ashore at Kapiti, but on Saturday the shipwrights went out to repair the damage. As soon as this is (lone it is expected it will be possible to relloat the vessel.
THE CITY OF NEWCASTLE. The City of Newcastle is due here today from Auckland. She has 2500 tona of cargo aboard, and after discharge horo is to sail for Sydiiey. She will probably get away on Friday. THE STRANDED KENNEDY. Advice received on Saturday from Foxton stated that the Kejtmedv was still anhcrc, but it was hoped to tow her off on Monday. TORT AUGUSTA DUB TO-DAY. The Port Augusta is due to-day from Auckland to continue discharge of her New York cargo. She will later go south. WADtAUINO ARRIVES. The Union Company's steamer Waimarino arrived yesterday from Vancouver with cargo for discharge here. MASAITA AT SAN FRANCISCO. A Press Association message from Dunedin states that th* Maraiua arrived at Han Francisco at 3 p.m. on Thursday from Wellington, and sails on the return voyage on November 8. MOERAKI'S OVERHAUL. The Moeraki is being overhauled at Port Chalmers, and will leave there about November 24 for Wellington, Sydney, and Hobart in place of the Ifoaiiu. MESS-TABLE GOSSIP. Mr. A. Gillespie, third engineer of the Uinemoa, has left that vessel. Captain A. Holm has superseded Captain L. Lareen in command of the Wootton. •Mr. A. S. Jackson has signed on the Hinemoa. as second engineer. Mr A. Oasson has joined the Zita as mate.
Tho Ngakuta. was to have left Newcastle on Saturday with a shipment of coal for Lyttcltoit. Tho Leitrira is due to-day from Waitarn, to continue loading. _ It is hoped to be able to dispatch tho Saikai Maru for Newcastle on Wednesday. Tho Navna. is to sail for Auckland at 5 p.m. to-day, taking general cargo. Tho Knkapo is to load a cargo of coal at Grcymouth this week for Wellington. Tho Tahiti, due at Auckland on Wednesday from Vancouver, is to sail the following day for Sydney. The Swallow sailed on Saturday for Grcymouth. where she will load timber for Sydney. . The Kini is not due from Greymo'ith now until Tuesday.
The Ayrshire left for Whakatanc on Saturday to continue loadinpf operations. The American schooner Saraar has completed loading a cargo of oregon timber at a Pacific port for Dnnedin. Tho motor schooner Le Merced has left Kan F'-swcisco with a cargo of lumber for the Bluff. _ .
TUo I'utiki Bailed on Saturday for Westport to load posts for Napier. The Kntoa is loading at Newcastle for Auckland. The (larbeta will load at Newcastle next week for Auckland. The Kaituna arrived at Melbourne on Friday afternoon from Hokianga, and will load at Melbourne and Newcastle for Auckland.
