Hartfehorn, who is a member of the House of Commons, has definitely r*signed his membership of the Miners' Federation as a protest against innuendoes that he sold the men. In a letter to the newspapers he declares that a group of "gihgerites" has been formed m the South Wales Federation who ar» deliberately, developing 'a policy of cutting down outpuri and organising strike after strike in order to ruin the lrdustry.
