WEEK-END ACCIDENTS
Henry Tomey, a single man, nged. 23 years, fell off tho Thorndon-Johnsonvillo train on Saturday evening and fractured his skull. The injured man, who resides at 31 Owen Street, and is an employee of tho Wellington Gas Company. was 1 admitted to the Hospital, and late last, night was reported to 'Do progressing favourably.
William Connor, aged 15 years, a married man, residing at "Ofl Grant Road, met with an accident yesterday morning while oariying-'out his duties as a, fireman at the IColb.urn tramway powerhouse. He was lifting a piece of machinery when it fell on his righti leg and broke it in two places below tho knee. He was admitted to the Hospital.
