—♦ : — OOCKER SPANIEL CLUB FORMED. Aa an outcome of n meeting held on the Showgrounds, Palmerston North, it has been deckled to form a Cocker Spaniel Club. The following officers, have been elected Patron, Mr. C. Lricksen (Dnmievirke); president. Mr. C. Aitchieon (Palmerston North); executive vicepresidents, Messrs. J. Solci (FeildinJ, H \ Taylor (Auckland), and S. Johnson "(Palmerston North); vice-presidents, Messrs. J. E. Graham (Wangnnm) J. C. Brny (Feilding), J. Lwsineton (Palmerston North), .1. T? ami K. H. Shepherd (Auckland), P. - Wilson (Wellington). W. C. Leverscdge, _G. Fy. Spedding, and .T. Tticlimond (fhristclnirch); secretary and treasurer, Mr. ii. Poolo (Palmerston North); committee, Messrs J. M'Avinue, Lissington, Snelliiur. Gillanl. Frafor. and I?ose juni. Palmerston North was selected as hendj quarters for the club, and it was decided that tlio club's trophies would be allotted onlv to shows appointing judges approved 'by the clul), ro far as Cocker .Spaniels were concerned.
