The Sduth African ItncbS Union wrote rcwrdlue tho proposed tour of a South African team to New Zealand and Australia. and considered that the pronooed Itinerary was fairly suitable. It r-ould be'the duty of tho New Zealand Union, tne letter continued, to arrange tho itinerary of the Australian tour, In addition to the prozramnio or Kamea In Now Zealand. The South African team would reoulre a week's rest on shore beforo nlayiuu the first match. Thero would be 29 players in the tourln» team. It was desired that three games be played til Australia on the outward journey, and iivo sanies on Hie return. Jmirne.v. The preliminary expenditure was estlmaten at between £750 and £1000. The South Union stipulated that the matches should bo nla.vca uuder the rules of the Euelish Union. The teiyn would require to leave South Africa In April or early iri Jtay. The matter will be discussed at a special meetmi; ot the union.
