FISHERMAN DISAPPEARS

Gisbornc, November 2 The police received information to-night, from Hicks Bay that o returned soldier named Frederick Trenne, aged aboui' 40 yoaTs, and employed in the new freezing works, disappeared from a party fishing off the, rocks near Hicks Bay on Sunday. It is_ presumed that ho was washed off tho rocks and drowned. Search parties arc now out. .
