A proposal to borrow .£22,500 for pifrehnsing thraj additional cars and tramway appurtenances was carried by a majority of 500 votes. A proposal to raise a loan of £13,500 for extending Clie present system (o Westown and installing railless care to Vogeltown was dnfeated by" 600 votes, and an alternative loan of ,£27,3W) to install railless cars to "both suburbs was defeated by 1(4 votes.
