DEMONSTRATION AGAINST REMOVAL OP COSSACK OFFICERS. Simla, November 1. An attempt was mado on Sunday to produco an anti-British demonstration in tlie Teheran bazaars, owing to tile British demand for the removal of the Russian Cossack officers, but it failed. A few shots wore fired, and one man was wounded. Slarosscls'ky loft for Europe on October SO, and other Russian officers will follow. Tho departure of tlieso powerful and determined opponents of Anglo-Persian friendship is expected to 6iuooth the corn-so of an Anglo-Persian agreement.—Router.
