There were exciting scenes-in-Dublii to-diy in consequence of numerous military raids. • Aimed, soldiers occupied the Mansion House, and hotels and private houses were raided. Shots wero exchanged and one soldier was wounded, The Bandon hosiery factory in County Cork was set on 'tiro and the entire stock and machinery were destroyed, The damage is estimated at ,£50,000.
