Manchester is again ( endeavouring to secure larger direct shipments of Australian wool. The recent revision of railway rates makes 'Manchester the che-ipest port for Bradford, to which the present wool rate from Monchester is 435. per ton, while the rate from Hull is 4Ss. per ton, and that from Liverpool 535-Aus.-N.Z Cable Assn. '
