WOOL MARKET
MODERATE DEMAND IN BOSTON.
(Ecc. October 24, -5.5 p.m.) . New York, October 23 Tho Boston "Commercial .Bulletin" states that, tho demand for wool continues moderate,, with prices but ■little changed. Choice Australian wools which nre bought largely by America are firmer since the opening of the Melbourne sales, although average quality to inferior wools show a declining tendency, and withdrawals have been heavy.. The woollen goods market is rather chaotic still, but the willingness of workers in mills to accept cuts in wages of 1.5 to 20 per cent, in order to keep the mills running is one of tho most hopeful signs of tho moment —Aus.-N.Z, Cable Assn.
