AFTER THE SESSION
« MR. MASSEY WILL TOUR The Prime Minister intends to visit many parts of New Zealand after the session. He has been unable to get about tho country as much as lie would have wished in recent years, owing to the very heavy demands made upon his time. He hopes to pay a visit to Samoa during th> recess, in order to get personal knowledge of affairs in that part.of the territory controlled by the New Zealand Government
During a recent discussion on the Civil List Bill. Mr. Masscy mentioned that Sir William Fmser, who is a member of the Executive, was doing a good deal of work in connection with the government of tho country, and that it was necessary for the Leader of the Upper House (o have some assistance lie added that this would be more nccossary still later on. Mr. Massey's words are understood to refer to the possible absence of Sir Francis Bell during next session .or a part of tho session. Sir Francis Bell will leave for England about April next.
