Donovan it was decided to approach the Town J laniiing- Association, Citizens' League, Melfare League, and Wellington Progress League with a view of holding a conference in November to decide upon candidates to bo nominated for the .Mayoralty and City Council «t nest April a election. It was considered that some such method should be adopted to provent a multiplicity of tickets.
