MELBOURNE WOOL SALES
Melbourne, October 19 'I'he wool sales were resumed after an interval of four years, and 32,000 bales were catalogued. The tap price reached was 3s. Good, to superior wools of fii s quality and upwards were in strong demand. Oversea buyers, bidding keenly, resulted in prices reaching 35 to 50 per cent, over the Government appraisement values—Press Assn.
