Burnett, M.P, for Tcmuka, was read al tho Plunkot Society's meeting: "Begin ning from mid-Docoinbor next, I propose pnying to the Plunket Society's secretary at each of the sub-centres 'Of Teniuka, Geraldine, Fnirlic, Pleasant Point, ami Mayfield, ,£lO every three months, con (lition.nl on each of these centres contributing 25 per cent, of their revenue towards tho . upkeep and running expenses of n society's cur. or cars, Tunning between Timani and Mayfield, and back to Fnirlic." Mr. Burnett olTers this financial help for two venM, the amount of his gift being <S2OQ per year.
