GERMAN INDUSTRIES
RAPIDLY REVIVING. (Bee, October 14, 8 p.m.) London, October 13. The "Daily Chronicle's" Berlin correspondent states that German industries are rapidly reviving, despite the heavy tuiation and extensive ccstly repairs and renewals to plant. An examination of the balance-sheets, published in September, of IG9' companies dealing with iron, steel, coal, textiles, breweries, papermaking, glass, and porcelain, ehows that ICS paid increased dividends compared witji 1918-19, 59 declared similar dividends; the dividends of 18 were decreased, and in 19 there were n? dividends.— Aus.-N.Z.
