MILK VENDORS' COMPLAINT TO COUNCIL
According to a clause in the Committee's report, read at kst niglitrs meeting of the City Council, a CV-'n" tion representing . the W e^n s' on Vendors" Association waited on the committee recently with reference to the 30 gallons' supplies from nearby farmers. The deputation pointed out that tile nearby farmers were not carrying out the terms of their license with regard to the 30 gallons per day, and asked tne committee to have the matter rectified immediately. Reference was made and names wore submitted to the committee whereljy these farmers vrere vending tween 40 and 50 gallons of milk per day. and thus causing serious losfl to tno vendotß under the "block system. The committee reported that the matter iiacl been left in the hands of the chairman and nssistant-goneral manager (Mr. Ward) to investigate the complaint.
