The employers' representative in the Arbitration Coiirt in the printing trades recently submitted a number of points to tho Court kr interpretation. As the employers were anxious to fully comply with tho award ' this week, .although it lias hot yet'been issued, if possible, yesterday morning, Mr. Pirani telegraphed to tho Registrar of the Court: "Could you kindly wire me to-day whether decision arrivod at on any point submitted." In reply, ho received the following telegram in the afternoon from the Registrar [—"Awaiting views of unions eoncorned." As tho employers' unions had already submitted- their views, the reference, of course, is to the workers' unions. At a meeting of the Wellington Master Printers' Union yesterday afternoon, at which Mr. Gamble, president of the Master Printers' Association was present, it was decided to await tlio decision of the Arbitration 1 Court. Sir William Herries (Minister of Labour) stated in the House of Ropresenta- ,, tiveg yesterday that the Printer? Award S would bo issued Way.
