A meeting of Cobden residents last night unanimously resolved: "That this meeting of citizens of Cobden (Buller electorate), having observed with apprehension for somo time, post the disloyal expressions and discreditable- tactics oi sections in and out of Parliament, takes this opportunity of expressing abhorrence of such, and pledges itself to rapport by every means any organisation for the purpose of upholding law and order and continued loyalty to tho Empire."
