CASES FOE THE WEEK. During the week ended nt noon yesterday 26 ewes of infectious disease were reported in th« Wellington Public Health District, ns against 25 in the previous week. Hospital districts which reported cases were: Waipawa: Diphtheria, 3. Palmerston North: Scarlet fever. 2; diphtheria, 3; puerperal septicaemia, 1. Wellington: Scarlet fever, 2; diphtheria, 1: influenza, 2; pneumonia, 1; chickenpox, 2; opthalmia, 3. Wairarapa: Scarlet fever, 3; pneumonia; 1. Wairau: Diphtheria, 1. Nelson: Diphtheria, 1.
