Tlie Karori Rifle Club will open the season at Trentham to-day, with a practice match at 300 and SCO yards. ' Members of Parliament liayo accepted, tlio club's invitation, aud. will fire a, match North v. South Island. A special trophy will be presented to the highest scorer in.the Parliamentary Match. • Members of : the Press Gallery will also . fire a match North v. South. The club this year hiis thrown its rauks open to twenty ; Senior Cadets' free of .membership, -fee. arid will provide coaching . and special prizes for the boys.' _ Captain Bell will provido'tho'boys, and it is. hoped to have thera present on Saturday. .
