Following are the results of tho third round in the Ladies' Golf Championship; Miss Richards (Christchurch) beat Miss ■,'Hewat (North Ohigo), 5 up, 1 to play; Miss GambriM (JJiramar) beat Jli'ss M'Clure (Wellington), 1 up; Mrs. Guy Williams (Masterton) beat Miss Dixon (Christchurch), i up, 3 to play; Miss Wright (Timaru) beat Mrs. M'Carthy (St. Clair), 1 up;' Mrs. Godly (Christchurch) beat Miss Turton (Miramar), 5 up, 3 to play; Miss Gifford Moore (Palmerston) beat Miss Bell (Wellington), 'l up; Mrs. Qrbell (North Otago) beat Missi Payton'(Auckland), .3 up',,l to play; Miss Withers (Miramar) beat" Mrs. .Martin (Palnierslon), 1 up. Tlw cup presented by Miss K. Rattray for tho two best aggregate handicap bogey scores during the week was won by Miss E. Culling (Auckland), all square. Tlie ties in the first bogey handicap were played off, and resulted:—Handicaps o—ll, Miss Gambrill (Miramar) beat Miss Giironl Moore (I'almerston North); handicaps 12—15, Miss Glendining (Otago) beat Miss Newton. (Christchurch). The second bogey handicap resulted: Hai'dicaps o—ll, Mrs. L. Mai-tin (Palnierstor. North), handicap 2, all square; handicaps 12—15, Miss -E. Culling (Auckland) handicap 12, 5 up. To-morrow, tho match-most looked forward to is that between Mrs. Guy Williams (Australian champion) and Miss Wright (New Zealand champion). AN EXHIBITION MATCH. Mr. iT. H. Kirkwood. the open and professional charapiori of Australia and New Zealand, is to give an exhibition of match-playing against New Zealand's best lirofessiorfals, and ho will also display nis talent at trick and fancy shots, of which he is a past-master. Since winning the open and professional championships at Hamilton, lie has given exhibitions on various links in the North Island, and at all plaeos visited he has drawn immense crowds of both golfers and non-golfers, nis exhibitions hnve proved a revelation even to the initiated, WELLINGTON GOLF CLUB.
