SlR s JAMES ALLEN'S OPINION OF IT.
»(Rec. Octobor 1, 8.20 p.m.) London, September 30. A representative of the Australian and Now Zealand Press Association interviewed Sir James Allen, who has returned from Brussels. Sir J times Allen stated that a difficulty of the conference was to reach concrete decisions owing to diversity of opinions, ideals, and polyglot discussions by moro than a hundred delegates. Tho trend of opinion favoured each country fiscally and industrially reestablishing itself. No' State, large or small, was entitled to assistance until it had balanced it/3 revenues and expenditure.
