KING'S THEATRE. A paoked house' again greeted the double feature programme at the King's Theatre last evening. The.picture programme is headed by a stirring drama, "In Old Kentucky," & story filled with, thrillinsr incidents. The leading role w admirably played by Anita Stewart. A Rreat reception was given to Mdlle. Irro.i Caron. the young French soprano, whose beautiful rendering of her well-selected songs holds the attention of her audience from the first to the last note. Mdlle. Caron wJll conclude her Wellington season this evening. An enjoyable programme of music is played by the King's orchestra. The plan is at the Bristol. EVERYBODY'S THEATRE. The ourrent. programme at Everybody's Theatre will be finally soreened this evening. This programme is a highly interesting one, and has for the feature "The Zero Hour," a World film, dealing with fake mediums and fortune-tollere. June Elvidge is featured. An interesting film in the supports is "The Arrival of Lord Jellicoe." which gives all the chief events of 1 the landing and welcomes. EMPRESS THEATRE. : At the Empress Theatre to-day the final screening will take place of • the present programme. The star picture is ."Poor Relations." The story lfe one of love and romance, with Blight touches of homely humour, and it is constructed in such a manner as to show the universal tendency to judge others by externals. A comedy, a gazette' and the 15th -.episode of "Liberty" are also shown. The arrival of the Governor-General completes the programme. KNIGHTS OE THE AIR AT THE KING'S. Imagination bore Jules Verne round the' world in eighty days. Four . Australian airmen, Ross and Keith Snjith, Sergeants Bennett and Shiers, had. 80 Vickers-Vimy, and an abundance of grit—their sole equipment to outdo the great Frenchman s dream—to fly across, the globe from England to Australia, half-way around the world. The wonderful .panorama ,of half the world,, the strange cities and peoples, the many Harrow escapes from disaster, constitute a film that makes history. Northern France, ancient Rome, Cairo, tho pops of Galilee, Bagdad, the home of alluring fairy tales, Delhi, Bangkok, Singapore, all are unfolded to the gaze, like the' unrolling of a living map. Sir Keith 6mith will personally tell the marvels of this flight while the picture is being screened. The box plan ia at the Bristol, and prices for this season ore Bs., 25., nndls. Mr. Walter Monk, advance representative of the "Tilly of Bloomsbury" Com, pany, passed through Wellington yesterday en route to the south.
