Tho steamer Melbourne, with a seaplane on board, started yesterday to search lx>tweon Sydney and New Zealand, and thence to Melbourne. A destroyer was dispatohed to-day to searoh for the nirnian. Information received by the agents of the Southern Cross leads to tho Ixv lief that the vessel has boen lost with a.ll hands. It is believed the barquentine struck Reid's Roolc and subsequently exploded.—Press Assn.
