Tho board decided to borrow .£IOO,OOO to harness Waikarcnioana, ,£40,000 for the transmission lino from the headworks to Wairoa. and .£60,000 for tho subsequent reticulation of tho main parts of country. This is tho biggest'loan proposal made by Wairoa.
