"CAMOUFLAGE"
« AN INTERLUDE IN COURT.. . There was an amusing interlude during the hearing of the profiteering appeal eases in tlio Full Court yesterday. Following a remark from the Bench on the subject of tempests in tea-cups, the Solicitor-General (.Mr. W. C. MacGreijor, K.C.), referring to the sale of the alarm clocks, over which the case was initiated, said something: about "camouflage." Counsel for Brown and Dureau (Mr. ,M. Myers) was on his feet in an illstand. "Camouflage!" he said. "Camou- , ilage! If my learned friend repeats that these eases are camouflage, he'll get an answer—" ' Mr. C. P, Skerrett, K.G.; That he won't exactly regard ns civil! Mr. Justice Edwards: It looks to_ me, gentlemen, as if Mr. Myers is inviting the Solicitor-General outside! - When the laughter had subsided, Mr. Myers explained that lie and "his learned friend" understood each other.
