: —0 THE WRONG CERTIFICATE. In the Magistrate's Court last week, before Mr. F. K. Hunt. S.M., J, D. Hutchison pleaded guilty, on behalf of the New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company, Ltd., to two charges of having sold n grain and a turnip fertilizer to Inspector T. C. Webb, of tho Department of - Agriculture, under certificates which did not show the correct analyses. Mr. Hutchison stated that the true analysis was supplied to farmers, nnd it was through inadvertence that the wrong analysis had been supplied to tho inspector. The storeman who supplied the inspector was not familiar with tho business. The Magistrate; It is your business to employ men who know their business. It is no help to a, farmer to pay /or a fertilizer thabis not up to the standard. The company was lined X's, and ordered to pay costs.
