FROZEN MEAT IN AMERICA

Messrs. Arlow and Co. forward the following report from the United States Bureau of Markets, under date New York, August 11, which will bo interesting here:—"Continuing the downward trend of the previous week, lamb prices at all markets were again sharply lower with closing prices unevenly two to three dollars lower than one week ago. Although '* cargo of approximately 200,000 carcasses of New Zealand lamb and mutton arrived at New York the dose of last week, no 6ales have been reported. The demand for mutton showed no improvement, and all sales, were made on weak and declining market. Prices at the close were two to three dollars wider Friday of last week."
