MOASCAR CUP. Next Tuesday afternoon, at the Athletic Park, the final fenine in the above cup will be played. Three teams remain in the competition—namely, Christchurch Boys' High School (winners of South Island tournament), Auckland Grammar School, and Palmerdton North High Gchool. The latter two schools play off at Palmerston North on Saturday, and the winner meets here in the final with Christchurch. The Moascar Cup (which U now on view at Howe and Sowman's, Lamnton Quay!, stands about 2 feet 6 inches high, and is of uncommon design. It is of spccM interest to ali New Zealandcrs. as it was won by our Mounted Rules' football team at the Army Service championship, held in Egypt, in 1918. HUTT VALLEY SCHOOLS. The final of tho Hutt Valley schools' junior competition for the "Chronicle" Cup was decided between Petone West and Pctone .Main on Wednesday, tho result boing a win for the former team by 12 points to 5. Trios for the -winners were obtained by Cunningham (21, Stovens. and Monntford, and tor the losers House scored a try, which Duncan converted.

WAIRAHAPA V. WELLINGTON. The meetinc of Wairavapa and Wellington at Athjetic Park on Saturday is expected to produce an interesting _ game. The local team will have tho services of Aitken, Alear. J.
