PRICES OF WOOLLEN FABRICS
PROSECUTIONS PENDING. The' Board of Trade has decided to take action against four wholesale firms in Wellington on informations alleging profiteering in respect to the sale of colonial and imported tweeds and other eoftgoods. There has recontly been considerable dissatisfaction at tho high prifces charged for tweeds, especially colonial tweeds, and tho euses, it is expected, will determine whether theso complaints are justified by the facts. The cases are set down for hearing on September 2'J.
