VICTORIA COLLEGE CLUB. The fourteenth .annual general mcctiiiK of Victoria College Cricket Club was Held Monday, an exceptionally laje numcupied'tle'cliair!' file resulted :-Patron, Professor Mackenzie! president, Professor Hunter; club-captain, Mr A. E; Caddick; lion. -sec. and trcas, Mr' E. C. Wren; committee,-Messrs. btaliiton, Joplin, and Ilaine; delegate to w c A.. Mr. Bead; lion, auditor, Mr. fc. K." iiomas. It was decided to make arrangements for the recommencement of inler-'varsity matches. Considerable mscussion took place on the necessity for having a team in the senior grade of the competitions, and it was decided unanimously that a senior team be entered.. It was considered that the University, having had a senior team for many years, should have a prior claim with the association. It was decided to leave the question of subscriptions to the incoming committee. Mr. I'. B. Broad, in proposing that Messrs. de la Mare and V. B. Willis, be elected life members, detailed some of the work thai had been done by those gentlemen for the club in it's struggling infancy. The .proposal was carried unanimously amidst applause.
