KAMENEFF LEAVES LONDON FOR RUSSIA INTERVIEW WITH LLOYD GEORGE By Telegraph-Press Assooiation-Oopyriyht (Eec. September 12, 11.30 p.m.) London, September-12. Kamcneff has left for Russia. He is tho bearer of Mr. Lloyd George's demands formulated at an interview held prior to Kanieneff's departure, with a view to clearing up tho latest political issues between tho Soviet and the British Government. For instance, it is pointed out that the offer of a subsidy to the "Daily Herald" violates an undertaking not to engago in propaganda in Britain.
The "Sunday Express" says Mr. Lloyd George did not minco words concerning Kanioneff's breach of pledges, and adds; "Ther* aTe indications that KamenefF will not return, but Kvassiii. who has kept faith throughout, will remain."— Aus.-N.Z. Moscow, Septembor 10. Tho Russian peace delegates hnvo gone to Riga, the Soviet having received tho necessary assurances of their safety. ANNOUNCEMENT BY WRANGEL (Rec September 12, 5.5 p.m.) London, September 10. General Wrangel, in a statement to a Russian newspaper, said that in view of the change in the attitude of the Allied Powers and the victory of tho Poles, he must concentrate his forces to the north of tho province of Taurida to enable him to act in the direction of the west. "In consequence of this," he said, "we are evacuating the Cuban region, where our trcops, far from having suffered defeat, havo beaten two Red divisions, taking 9000 prisoners and capturing eight guns.
