ENGLISH TEAM UNLIKELY TO ' VISIT DOMINION. (From a Special Correspondent.) Duncdln, Septemuer 7. The probabilities are that the proposed visirt of the English amateur cricket team to the Dominion this summer will not eventuate. The Cricket Counoil has been advisoil that the cost, of the itour would run into something like .55000 and that each of the four main associations would require io guarantee at' least .£IOOO. !As the finances of a majority of tlmm hre in a more or less parlous state, the council will probably ask the English authorities to postpone or abandon t'he tour.
