According to advices received at tho office of the Shaw, Savill, and Albion Company, the CorintUic, which lias the new Governor-General, Viscount Jellicoe of Scapa, and Lady Jellicoe, as passengers, left Colon on Saturday last, and is due to arrive in Wellington on Sunday. September 2G. Assuming that tho Corinthic runs to time-table, and arrives hero at daylight on Sunday, it is understood that the official landing will not take placo until Monday. Should she encounter head winds and bad weather the Corinlhie may not arrive in port until tho Monday. Tho Wellington branch of tho Aavy Loaguo is organising an impressive children's welcome to Lord Jellicoe, so the, day cf tho official reception will probably lie a school holiday, if not a general one. ____
